11/4/14 Report - State of Treasure Coast Treasure Beaches Fort Pierce to Sebastian. Rough Seas.

Written by the TreasureGuide for the exclusive use of treasurebeachesreport.BlogSpot.com

I took a look at beaches along the Treasure Coast from John Brooks Park up to Amber Sands this morning.  Here is what it looked like.

John Brooks Park.
There were no cuts at John Brooks this morning.  The water had been up over the berm and part way back on the flat beach where sea weed was dropped.

Turtle Trail
No cuts here either.

Sea Grape Trail
The water had hit the cliffs of renourishment sand at the back of the beach.  There were small, very small, cuts out in front of the cliffs near the beach access.  No erosion to the north around the bend.

One heavily encrusted penny came out of the cliff renourishment sand.

Wabasso Beach.
Notice the sand on the front of the boardwalk.

Amber Sand Beach Access.
No erosion here either.

All of these beaches were very sandy.  The past few months did hem no good.  And you can see that overall a lot of sand needs to be moved.

My Treasure Coast Treasure Beach Detecting Conditions rating remains at 1 (poor) despite the rough seas.

Happy hunting,
