10/19/15 Report - Early Edition. Higher Wind Surf and Erosion On Beaches. TCTBDC Rating Increased to Level 2.

Written by the TreasureGuide for the exclusive use of treasurebeachesreport.blotspot.com.

Late Sunday afternoon the wind picked up.  Even before that though, some of the beaches had improved.

Three Foot Plus Cut At John Brooks Sunday Afternoon
I'm doing this early edition because after a long slow summer the beaches are actually improving a little.  The tons of renourishment sand is still a problem on many of the primary Treasure Coast wreck beaches.  Even where there has been no new renourishment sand, there is still a lot of summer accumulation to be moved.

There was a lot of mushy sand in front of this cut.  If you looked at the face of the cut, you can see a lack significant layering.  That is because it was mostly the summer sand that piled up there in a slow constant uneventful manner.

Two Pictures Of Douglas Beach as Seen Sunday Afternoon.

The cuts on Douglas beach were neither as continuous or as high as those at John Brooks.

I'm posting this Early Edition because things are changing.  Monday we are supposed to get an even higher surf.   I'm increasing my Treasure Coast Treasure Beach Detecting Conditions Rating to a 2 for now.  That is the first time in a long time.

Happy hunting,
Talk to you later.
