Hurricane Humberto is slowly moving away while another system heats up in the Atlantic.  It might come this direction.

Expect more high surf through the week.

So far this week I've not seen any cuts on the South Hutchinson Island wreck beaches.

John Brooks Monday PM.

There was a nice little flat area near the water at low tide.  There were very few shells.

I was surprised to discover that a couple of the modern coins I picked up Sunday were wheat cents.  The one I could read was 1930-something.

With Humberto still producing surf for the Treasure Coast and another system coming this way, you should remain alert for any changes.

Happy hunting,
