| Seated Liberty Dime. |
I found a small group of silver coins that are very worn. This Seated Liberty dime is actually one of the better ones. Some of the others are worn almost to nothing. I think most of the wear is from circulation. They did not show much corrosion.
The photo is every bit as good as you can see it in real life. I think you can actually see more in the photo. I tried sharpening and contrast and all those things, but couldn't get it any better than this.
It looks to me like the date is 184?
The melt value is a little over $1. If it was in just average shape, it would have a value of around $30, but it is in very poor condition.
I'm glad I got my close-up photo system working again! I plan to have some more good coin photos.

This is Jeff C from PSL. Had to share a picture of my finds from Wednesday in the pompano beach area.. Using my equinox 600. Found approximately $15 in change in 2 1/2 hrs.. would of kept going but had to go to work.. Nonstop targets. A couple wheatbacks.. and a small silver toe ring were the only thing other then coins..

As I always say there is always some place to detect and something to find. The treasure won't come to you. You have to go to where it is. Sometimes it is in the water, sometimes on the beach, sometimes inland, and sometimes north or south.
Alberto probably created some good hunting somewhere up around Alligator Point. Also some other places. I didn't get any out-of-area reports other than Jeff's lately.
I always like islands or irregular coastal areas were if one side wasn't getting hit the other side would be.
When the sand is building in one place, it is leaving another. That is a good thing to remember when you see a lot of new sand. Ask yourself where it came from.
Expect more of the same conditions on the Treasure Coast for a at least a few days.

I don't usually do anything that sounds so much like an ad, but since Jeff mentioned his detector, and it is a new one on the market, I thought I'd say a few things about it.
