What happened on the Mary Celeste?  Why was it abandoned?  No one seems to know.

The surf is decreasing just a little on the Treasure Coast.  Still not much erosion despite the hype on the TV news.  South Hutchinson Island down by the St. Lucie Inlet has some.

Michael T. sent in this report from Hobe Sound.  He said, I did an evening hunt at Hobe Sound hoping for some cuts but none found. Giant waves still pounding though! It was as if the whole beach got a good washing from top to bottom lol!

Dug a few good nickels and sinkers which made my heart flutter at the tones. I may try Jensen or Stuart tomorrow as well have another nice washing tonight!

Thanks Michael.

I'm not issuing any change in beach detecting conditions today.  I'm sticking with m 2 rating.

Typical Treasure Coast Beach Wednesday Morning.

One Interesting Washout.
There were a bunch of targets by the washout.  A lot of junk and a few other things.

Happy hunting,
